A few years back a friend of mine (also called mark) introduced me to to 'new country' or modern country music and some of it is actually pretty good .
As long as you stay away from older stuff with lyrics like 'the dogs dead,my wife left me and the crop in the field has spolied etc' that are really depressin.
Im tryin to remember theres a few hot country singers and one is quite short and hunky - almost like a brent everett of country ....cant remember his name right now. lol

I listened and watched: he sounds really sexy at the beginning, though the song fell flat.
As for the vid being "gay" -- it's more the sappy female-audience oriented thing: if he makes panties damp, he sells albums.
